Our thoughts on redesign best-practices

Clients have asked us in the past - what latest coding and design principles drive your redesign work? So here are a few that often apply regardless of vertical.

- Understand that each user interacting with the site is the 'brand experience', and therefore a company's reputation is directly tied to the quality of the web site.

- Establish user 'hierarchy of needs' (basic to complex) and reflect this in home page content and layout.

- Highlight and chunk key content to maximize iConclude's sales proposition (i.e. using typeface, color, contrast, shape, motion, etc.).

- Develop a navigation system that consistently easy to locate, clearly descriptive, indicates status, is scalable.

- Simple (but not too simple!) interface design that consistently accommodates all site content regardless of size or complexity.

- Assist client in narrative approach to the presentation of all information on the site to funnel prospects and users effectively.

- Standards compliant code that will perform consistently on all browsers, platforms, and required devices.

- Modern, easy to work with stylesheets and styleguide, so the client can modify content easily and economically.

- Establish 'redundancy' pages in site so that any error or failure messages contain clear instructions and options for users.
